Jamie Dornan has joined the long list of actors to distance themselves from the James Bond role.
"I've been in that conversation for a good couple of years now", said the Northern Irishman.
"Sometimes I'm more in that conversation than other times. It tends to be if you have a movie coming out.
"I imagine that if people are making noise about Heart of Stone when it comes out on Netflix — hopefully, lots of people are watching it — you enter that conversation again in a bigger way than you were before the movie came out.
"If people want to have your name, that's cool. I'm just not one of those people who give it a huge amount of thought".
The 41-year-old previously spoke about the backlash Daniel Craig received upon his casting as 007.
Although Bond mogul Michael G. Wilson has already declared that the next Bond will be "thirty-something". So Jamie may have missed the boat.
