"For England, James?"
Chiselled actor James Norton has revealed there's nothing behind the rumours linking him to James Bond.
When asked whether he's had any preliminary discussions with Bond moguls Barbara Brocolli and Michael G. Wilson, the Brit said:
"No, no, no. None of that".
"It's a lovely piece of clickbait media in the UK, and anyone can write any story about it, and it will get the most incredible hype around it.
"Basically, nothing else to say other than I think they're probably still working it all out. It's a big challenge to know which direction to take that huge franchise in. But beyond that, it's lots of fun and bemusing media coverage. There's nothing concrete behind it".
At 37 years old, he's certainly the right age. But with Bond 26 seeming some way away, he may miss the boat after Michael G. Wilson declared the next 007 will be "thirty-something".
