No Time To Stand

Daniel Craig and wife Rachel Weisz were among the celebrities watching the 2023 men's final at Wimbledon. The couple has split opinions over their interaction with Kate Middleton, with some claiming they didn't correctly greet the royal as she passed their seat.

Sitting in the Royal Box, the actors chatted with the Princess of Wales as Daniel held Kate's hand in his. But therein lies the problem for some: they remained seated.

A curtsy or a bow is seen as a gesture of respect when meeting royal family members. But this is not mandatory, according to the British Royal Family's website:

"There are no obligatory codes of behaviour when meeting The Queen or a member of the Royal Family, but many people wish to observe the traditional forms. For men, this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small curtsy. Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way".

Did the A-list couple do wrong?
