Tom's non-answer
In 2016, The Night Manager sauntered onto our TV screens — putting Tom Hiddleston in the frame to play James Bond.
Seven years plus relationship and a breakup with Taylor Swift later, Tom will return as ex-soldier Jonathan Pine.
Tennis fan Tom was recently quizzed about his 007 hopes while enjoying a day at Wimbledon:
"Have a good championship", came his reply — dodging the question entirely.
Although two things could go against him as the hunt for Bond no. 7 begins. Firstly, he's 42, and Bond mogul Michael G. Wilson has declared that the next 007 will be "thirty-something".
Secondly: frolicking in the sea in that 'I love T.S.' vest.
