Green turns the air blue

Bond girl Eva Green went into an expletive rant and compared herself to  Cruella de Vil as a £4 million project fell apart.

The 42-year-old is embroiled in a legal row over who was responsible for the collapse of the British sci-fi flick A Patriot. The film was also due to star Helen Hunt and fellow Bond actor Charles Dance.

Eva signed an £830,000 deal to appear in the lead role. She was also given the title of executive producer with the approval of the cast.

The High Court revealed Eva fell out with the backers, White Lantern, plus executive producers Jake Seal and Terry Bird from Black Hangar Studios. She accused them of trying to make a "cheap B movie".

Eva has taken legal action to receive her fee for the film, claiming she was not at fault for its demise.

White Lantern bosses counter-claim Eva is responsible. They declared she made "unreasonable demands" by hiring extra production crew members. The Bournemouth-based film production also said she had "no regard" for the film's limited budget.  

In an email to the film's director, Dan Pringle, Eva wrote: 

"F*ck him [Mr Seal]. We need to get the a*seholes out by Monday. I cannot believe that Moron Jake… pure vomit. At the end of the day, we want to get rid of Terry [Bird] and his big boss [Mr Seal]. My name is Cruella".

White Lantern claimed: 

"She [Eva Green] had no intention and/or desire to complete the production. She sought to undermine or frustrate it while appearing to fulfil her contractual obligations to pocket her fee".

The Casino Royale star faces a legal bill of more than £4 million if she loses. The case continues.
