Sam Smith has divided opinions again. The media continues to poke the anti-non-binary bears by claiming Sam corrected The One Show presenter Alex Jones after she misgendered them. Yet Sam didn't correct her. The James Bond theme tune artist merely used the gender-fluid term 'fisher-them' rather than 'fisherman'.
Host Ronan Keating asked Sam: "You're a big fan of fishing?"
They replied: "I do love fishing, yes! Yeah, I'd love to be a fisher-them".
Alex then asked: "What, like a fly fisherman?"
Sam retorted: "I'd be any type of fisher them. I think I'd like to. One day, I'd just like to end my days fishing. Like sitting on a bank".
