Ben there, done that

In 2006, the James Bond series was given a much-needed shot in the arm after the debacle that is Die Another Day.

It was in with the new: Daniel Craig. It was out with the old, including John Cleese's much-maligned portrayal of Quartermaster. Yet Dame Judi Dench as M was too good to lose for Casino Royale.

One of the most discussed topics among Bond fandom since the death of Daniel's 00 is whether the supporting cast will be re-cast.

One of those actors, Ben Wishaw, has given his take:

"I haven't heard anything", he revealed. "I suspect they might sort of wipe the slate clean and start again, so maybe not, sadly".
