"And now we know what C stands for"
What do you do when Andrew Scott glares at you in the audience during Hamlet?
Andrew played the titular role in the Shakespearean tragedy. He recalled his shock when he saw an audience member using his laptop during the famous "to be or not to be" speech.
Performing at the Almeida Theatre in 2017, Andrew held up the performance until the theatre-goer put away his laptop:
"When I was playing Hamlet, a guy took out his laptop — not his phone — his laptop — while I was in the middle of 'to be or not to f*cking be".
"I was pausing, and the stage team was like, 'Get on with it'. And I was like, 'There's no way'. And he didn't realise. I stopped for ages. Something is rotten".
