"I've been here before"

Sam Smith has apologised to fans for pulling the plug on their Manchester concert just four songs in. The James Bond theme tune artist confirmed that two more of their shows will not go ahead as planned.

Playing to a sold-out audience, Sam kicked off with Stay With MeI'm Not The Only OneLike I Can, and Too Good At Goodbyes.

They left the stage for an extended period, and the lights were dimmed. Some concert-goers took to social media to speculate about a power cut. The audience was later informed that the show had ended due to "vocal issues" and were instructed to leave the arena.

Sam apologised to their fans (affectionately known as 'Sailors') on social media. Yet this isn't the first time they've had to cancel gigs as part of their Gloria tour. They've cancelled a string of dates because they and their entourage were hit by a virus.

Get well soon, Sam.
