Put it away, Sam
BBC Prom's bosses have insisted the show will be "entirely appropriate" after they announced controversial pop star Sam Smith as a headliner.
Sam Jackson, the Radio 3 and Proms controller, addressed concerns about whether Sam's performance would suit the orchestral concert series:
"We've worked very hard with Sam Smith and their management to see how we can create something authentically Proms. The look and feel will be entirely appropriate for the audience in attendance".
So, Sam won't be dancing with tassels on their tits and their arse cheeks hanging out of leather pants, then.
