TV chef reveals why he doesn't have Broccoli anymore
James Bond bigwig Barbara Broccoli is said to be worth £300 million. She lavished ex-boyfriend and TV chef James Martin with three genuine Picassos but he drew the line when she tried to buy him a £180,000 Aston Martin.
"It wasn't as if it was my birthday or Christmas; it was just a spur of the moment thought", he revealed.
"In the end, I said, 'If I want something, I'll work for it. Just drop it, or we'll fall out over this'. It was a defining moment in our relationship. Deep down, I knew there would always be an imbalance, so it was for the best".
