Bond exhibition opens on top of a mountain

A new James Bond exhibition, '007 ELEMENTS', has opened on top of the Gaislachkogl mountain in Sölden, Austria. The ski resort will be familiar to Bond fans, as it is where a pivotal scene in SPECTRE was filmed.

The building opened as a restaurant called ICE Q and was quickly chosen to play the role of the Hoffler Klinik. Jacob Falkner made a deal with Eon Productions to allow filming to take place but also secured permission to open a dedicated Bond exhibition once filming had finished.

To visit the exhibition, you will need to travel 3,050 metres up the mountain via the gondola Q was awkwardly trapped in.

There are some beautiful photos and more information about the exhibition on The Austrian National Tourist Office website.
