"He sends one of yours to the tailors; you send one of his to the auction"
Two suits said to have been worn on-screen by Sir Sean Connery have sold for a little shy of £7,000 in an online auction.
A grey suit, made by Angels Costumes, which the Scot reportedly wore in Brian De Palma's The Untouchables, went for £1,625 at Lyon and Turnbull's Rare Books, Manuscripts, Maps & Photographs sale.
A cream suit, made by Hayward Tailoring and worn by Sir Sean in the non-Eon Bond film, Never Say Never Again, sold for £5,250.
Eagle-eyed Untouchables fans may struggle to spot Jimmy Malone wearing the said suit in the 1987 Prohibition-era film.
