Alan's OBE is Cumming back to the Palace
GoldenEye's Alan Cumming was "shocked and delighted" when he was made an OBE in 2009 as part of the Queen's birthday honours. The gong came for his acting and campaigning for LGBTIQA+ rights in the US. But now, he's handing it back.
The Scot said he made the decision after listening to conversations about the future of the Royal Family after the Queen's death, plus the "toxicity" of the British Empire.
It just goes to show that nothing's invincible.
