Labour's Sir Keir Starmer agrees with a Tory on at least one thing: it's time for a female James Bond.

Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer cited Sean Connery as her favourite Bond and weighed in on the Jane Bond debate, adding:

"It's always time for females to lead — in film and more broadly".

Back in 2021, Sir Keir sat on the fence when pressed to name his favourite 007:

"I don't have a favourite Bond, but I do think it is time for a female Bond".
