James Nelson-Joyce said becoming the first Liverpudlian James Bond would be a "privilege" after his odds were slashed.
"I mean... double oh Scouse. I'm here for it", he joked.
He's already halfway there by starring alongside Bond villain Sean Bean in This City Is Ours.
