Daniel Craig Spiels the beans

Daniel Craig has revealed that bumping into an on-holiday Steven Spielberg was the tipping point in deciding to take the James Bond role or not. The pair had worked together the year before on the historical drama, Munich.

"Steven was in the same hotel by chance", Daniel revealed. "Can you get a more Hollywood moment?

And I went, 'Would you read this [the Casino Royale script], please? He read it very quickly and said, 'You have to do it'. It was very important to me that someone like him should be as inspired by it as I was.

"I was working with incredible directors in some amazing movies. I was nervous. I thought that I don't want to do Bond and ruin all that".
