Ex-footballer John Carew has revealed he's got his sights set on 007 — swapping the pitch for film studios in a wild post-career move.
The 46-year-old was sentenced to 14 months in prison in 2022. Since then, he's been carving out a decent presence in the acting world.
He previously pleaded guilty to tax evasion in Norway, after failing to report income and assets worth over £25 million between 2014 and 2019.
The Norwegian said he was following his agent's advice, who told him he didn't need to pay tax in his homeland because he was living abroad.
Now, he's eyeing up Bond... and, unsurprisingly, a henchman à la Dave Bautista in SPECTRE.
Jon, who's already appeared in 11 TV shows and films, said:
"I want to be a villain in a James Bond movie. Not the main villain, but a hitman. I want to be the baddie's right-hand man, like a silent assassin who loses a fight to Bond halfway through".
